CHS HOMECOMING PARADE

Who Can Participate?
Parade is open to the Spartan Community. We welcome local youth and school sports teams, clubs and organizations, feeder schools, community groups, nonprofits, local businesses, neighborhood groups, alumni organizations and other groups that want to celebrate Campbell High School and show their Spartan spirit.

Event Details:

  • Staging and decorating begins at 3:00 pm in the Smyrna First Baptist Church parking lot, located on the corner of King St. and Church St.
  • Groups may walk or ride on a truck or trailer. Groups may also be sponsored by local businesses.
  • Transportation for students from Campbell High School will be provided via bus at 3:45 pm.
  • All participants should be in the parade staging area and prepared for the start of the parade by 4:45. 
  • Items may be tossed out to supporters along the route. There are limitations set forth by the city of Smyrna. Small candy can only be thrown within the village and should not be thrown along Powder Springs St. Larger candy or bagged candy can be tossed for post parade cleanup efficiency. Other items like beads/spirit wear/plastic gifts are allowed but should represent CHS and respect the city of Smyrna’s streets. 
  • Entries should embrace and promote Spartan Spirit with their decorations. 
  • Parade will end at the McDaniel Stadium parking lot. Participants can be retrieved from Campbell High School following the parade.

Right after the parade, stick around for the inaugural Spartan Block Party, located in Smyrna Market Village. We'll have food, drinks, specials from participating SMV businesses, and a whole lot of Spartan Spirit!
